My favorite song is the theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The song is very catchy and upbeat. It started like this:
Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
I haven't been able to memorize the lyrics to the song. I hope memorizing the song will be as easy as memorizing y = mx+b.
My favorite poem is called
Current by Alan Soldofsky. One line really caught my attention:
I dread the future, yet it arrives little by little. I like this line because Soldofsky wants his readers to understand that time is precious, and everytime we worry about the future, we lose precious time. He implies that the past is a gift to be cherished. Here is the link to the poem.
