Unit 1 Day 7

Luke Siegel

Every website contains lines of codes. These tell the computer what to show on a page. Every page should start with <!DOCTYPE html>. Below that you should type in <html> to show that you are working in html. After, type in <title>. Type what you want the title of your page to be (this will apear in the tab of the page).

Close the tab by using </title>. The fowards slash closes a tag (like <title> or <html>). Afterwards, you must add the body of the text. Start that with the tag <body>. Here you could type in headers by using the tag <h1-6> and type in paragraphs by using the tag <p>.

Remember to close all of your tags! Finally, close your head body and html tags.
